Last January 18, 2013, was our schedule for watching a play named "Batang Rizal". I enjoyed watching plays. So when our adviser told us about it, I'm so excited since this will be about my favorite hero of all times.The play will held at the Assumpta Theater in Antipolo at the time of 2:00 in the afternoon. Our adviser recommend us to go to school at ordinary time and that is 7:00 am. In the morning, was the election of the new officers of SAC. One of our teacher and also a SAC adviser chose committees in our section, and I'm one of them.Me and my friend Kate, was assigned in the room of St. Peter. As a committees we are the ones who will give the rules in the voting process.When the election was done and we ate our lunches already, I feel so excited. Because finally, we will watch Batang Rizal. Our adviser told us to fall in line outside to wait for the jeep that will take us to the theater. The boys and the girls in our section are separated, the girls have a different jeep.The jeep of the boys was the first to arrived, so they are the first one to leave. When our jeep finally arrived, we rushed inside then take our seats and when everyone got inside, the jeep left and i'm so happy that time.Inside the jeep everybody sang as the music played exception to me. I didn't know the song so I just remained silent and I also feel sleepy.We traveled almost 20 minutes and I'm amazed when we arrived at the school where the theater was built. I thought when we arrived, that we're going to watch already since it's already 1:30 in the afternoon.But I was wrong. We waited for almost half an hour before we finally watched the play. When we got inside the theater I was amazed to see how big it was. There's so many seats inside and it's like a curve I think.When everyone got inside and the guests have finally arrived, the lights dimmed and then, we sang the National Anthem and there were two persons who were giving us rules while the play is ongoing.
After that, the story finally began

     The story began when students appeared and they're celebrating their "Linggo ng Wika". Their teacher told them that they have a visitor and that is the mayor of the town.The mayor gladly introduced to them the new monument of Rizal for the school. But when they took off the curtain, they were surprised that it's not Rizal, it's Pepito. He is one of the students in the school. Pepito just smiled at them and he's shaking. Their teacher scold at him and the mayor got angry for what he did. His classmates just laughed at him.
Pepito didn't know what to do because he accidentally broke the monument of Rizal. When all of them went back to their classrooms, their taecher told them that they will have a long quiz about the life of Dr. Jose Rizal. After that, Pepito went to the library to get a book about Rizal's life. He found one. But when he opened it, he suddenly went back in the past. In the time where Rizal was young.
Therefore, Pepito met Rizal and Rizal also met him.Way back to Rizal's time, Pepito knew a lot of things about Rizal's younger years. He even told Rizal that he will die for the country and he will become the National Hero of the Philippines. When the two became friends,
Pepito states a few things about the future so Rizal got interested to go to the future where as he said, he's a hero. Rizal convinced Pepito to go to the future. With the help of the book Pepito had found, they traveled from the past, to the future. Rizal realized many things when he went o the furure, he even helped Pepito with his problem about the monument. When Rizal will finally go back to the past, all of the student gave him a gift. He appreciates it so much. I can't remember how the play ends.
The lesson they want to tell us I think is to be honest.

 I really enjoyed watching it. At first, I think it's just all about Rizal. But I was wrong, because they made the play funnier than ever and mixed it with our modern world. I'm not bored while watching it, I just keep my eyes on the stage hoping not to miss any part of it. As we're on our way home, we're so quiet inside the jeep.
I think everyone was so tired but they all looked happy just like me. I even knew a lot of things about Rizal just like Pepito. Pepito is my favorite of all. He's so naughty and a jolly student. As well as the other students they made me laugh too. Everytime I remember this play, It makes me smile. This play taught a lot to me and that day means so much to me. For me that day was a historical day, remembering the younger days of our national hero is great.
I wished I could go back to the past and meet him just like what Pepito had experienced.

     In our modern world, sports is in demand. Most of us love sports and tuning in to different sports channel. Hoping not to miss any match of our different sports team. Everywhere you go, you hear people talked about their favorite sports team and how great they were. Volleyball is one of the talked about sports and been very popular today. When you're watching a volleyball game, it makes you think that it's easy to play. When you're the one playing volleyball, you will realize that it's not a piece of cake. In playing volleyball, you must be strong, fast, smart, optimistic and do have perseverance and be happy. Since it's been popular today, here's some of the basic steps on how to play volleyball.

     Above all, in order for you to play safely, you have to wear the appropriate attire that includes a jersey or a simple shirt and a short shorts that will make you feel comfortable and look nice. First up, you have to be strong. Not only physically, but also emotionally. The game starts by tossing a coin to determine who will serve the ball first. When the server is in the service area already and the referee whistled, then the game is on! For you to hit the ball, you have to put your hands or fists together and make sure that your thumbs are stick to each other. Also, don't forget to bend you knees because you will get your force from it. And as the ball comes through your way, hit it as your shoulders go up together with your arms. In other instances, you have to swing your arms, but always remember not to swing your arms too much for it will cause the ball to bounce too high. Second, be fast! Always make sure that you're faster than the ball especially when you already know where the ball would go. Don't let the ball touch the ground cause if you do, the opponent will be the one to get a score. Say "MINE!" if you're sure that you will be the one to get the ball. When you said that, your teammates will let you hit the ball and gave it to the opponent's court. Third, be smart. Every player has it's own tactics to get a point. When the ball is in play, don't lose your focus in it. Inside the court, you have to play with your mind and body for you to win. Think of every player's move, don't let your court have open areas. Every player must be scattered inside the court for them to have their own areas not to let the ball touche the ground.

     The fourth step, be optimistic. Volleyball have three to five sets. If on the first set, your team didn't win, there's always a second and third set and it's a chance for your team to win. The score is usually up to 25 but in some games, it's only up to 15. Both teams will change courts when one of them have reached the desired score and the referee will signal to both teams to change courts. Don't lose hope and think positive, as always. Trust yourself and your teammates in every game, let your fighting spirit overcome your fears. The score is usually up to 25 but in some games, it's only up to 15. The fifth step, always have perseverance especially in training. If you want to be the best player you have to work hard and be patient. We can't do all things so we must appreciate what we can do. Learn to do better especially when you have mistaken and your team loses a point. And the last but not the least, don't forget to be happy and keep smiling whatever the result of the game was. Whether your team win or lose, you have to accept it within your heart and do better next time. All that matters is that you know in yourself that you did your best and your team is still the best among the rest.

     The game ends when the referee determined who wins. Then both teams will fall in line in the endline and will go to the centerline to shakehands or congratulate each other. Other teams, after the game, all of them will thank the officials and the opponent's team for a good game. This shows humility or humbleness for others and you team have the spirit of sportsmanship. For the summary of all,  in playing volleyball, you must be strong, fast, smart, optimistic and do have perseverance and have fun.

                   Everyone knows him. Most especially his songs. Wherever you go, you hear it. His rap inspires everybody, like me. Also known as the King of Rap, with all he contributed to the rap music industry. He's Marshall Mathers or as everyone knows, EMINEM.
                   

                   Everybody notices that Eminem's songs are made up of different stories. When you browse the lyrics of the songs, you'll find it out. Most of these songs are originally made by him. Based on his experiences, he wrote his point of view in a piece of paper and combined words together and eventually, he has composed a rap song. As you can see, most of his songs are made up of bad words. There's a reason behind it. In a documentary of his life he told why he chose these words to be in his songs. He said that these words are the words that he usually hear when he's growing up. Just a simple reason. And that's why Eminem is different from the rest.

                  Eminem's feelings in his songs are random. He just wants to express his feelings through writing, through music. When his relationship with his wife becomes complicated, he's been addicted to drugs. And suddenly he vanished from the music industry. Inspiring everybody through his songs is what he want. He's really an icon. When I first heard Eminem's song "Not Afraid", I just think it's cool then I start to realize that all of his songs are great. Even the message and the lyrics amazed me! And his way of delivering the words is so cool!! Hip-hop is the BEST!!!!!

                  Everytime I play his songs and listen to it, I always remember my childhood days. In his songs "Beautiful" and "No Love". It reminds me of the days I was bullied in our school when I was elementary. I'm so ashamed that I keep on asking myself "Why me? Why I am like this?". But as Eminem said in one of his songs, "Don't let them say you ain't Beautiful." When I first watched Eminem's movie "8 Mile" that is based on his own life, this was the first time that I was inspired to him. And I started to idolized him But not all people want or like what Eminem does. Others see his songs as bad influence to them. Because it contains explicit words and the rhythm or tone is............................ not so nice to hear. Others have protested Eminem's songs. For all his lovers, they just ignore it. For me, if you love music, you'll ignore the words involve in it, and focused on the meaning and the lesson behind it. It's not about the words or the singer, it's about respecting them.
                  
                    RESPECT, is what Eminem and most of us wants. Respect as an individual, and as a son of God. Eminem is an icon that can't be compared. He has his own way of telling people to be strong and be who you are. His songs are what keeps me holding on and don't give up in every problem I have. For now, he's my favorite rapper. I idolized him....................  A LOT!
